September 16, 2011 - Strecker Cancer Center Kicks Off “1 Week 100 Cheeks” Campaign
Staff from the Strecker Cancer Center will be encouraging the community to take part in the fight against Leukemia. Marietta Memorial Hospital is partnering with DKMS, the world’s largest bone marrow donor center, to encourage as many community members to register as new potential bone marrow donors.
The “1 Week 100 Cheeks” campaign will kick off the week of September 19, 2011. Staff will be registering potential donors at several locations:
• Tuesday, September 20 from 1 – 8 p.m.; Marietta Memorial Hospital First Floor Conference Room
• Wednesday, September 21 from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. in front of the MMH cafeteria
• Friday, September 23 from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. in the lobby of Selby General Hospital
• Tuesday, September 27 from Noon – 4 p.m. in the lobby of the Wayne Street Medical Campus
