The Marietta Memorial Hospital Volunteers are having their Annual Used Book Sale on August 31, Friday, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the First Floor Classroom at Marietta Memorial Hospital.
They are accepting donations of paperback and hardback books; videotapes; musical cassettes; computer, video and box games and puzzles. Donations may be dropped off on Level G in the hospital's parking garage where a volunteer is stationed from 8 to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday, to assist in unloading the boxes of books. Donated items will also be accepted throughout sale day.
Proceeds of the sale will be used for community and hospital projects and programs throughout the year. For more information, contact Anna Vukovic at 374-1779.
