LiveMemorialWell Lecture Series Featuring Dr. Christopher Edmands
(March 22, 2017, Marietta, Ohio) –
Dr. Christopher Edmands, our primary care physician, will present a four-part lecture series on our new health initiative, LiveMemorialWell. This series will be focusing on the themes of Learn, Eat, Move and Share. LiveMemorialWell is a valuable extension of the care we provide and the partnership our patients have with their providers.
Dates of the lecture series are: Monday, April 3, 10, 17, 24 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Grand Pointe Conference Center (1500 Grand Central Ave #118, Vienna, W. Va.). Cost is $5; light refreshments will be served. Call (740) 568-4731 at least one week prior to register.
April 3 - Learn: Make your mind work for you by keeping it healthy and active. Learn tips to make your brain healthier, something that often gets put on the sidelines.
April 10 – Eat: What we eat has a profound impact on our overall health and is a core tool for living well. Learn some practical ways to adapt your diet to support a healthier mind and body and to aid in the healing process while living with a chronic disease.
April 17 – Move: Movement is important for our bodies, both mentally and physically. It can give you energy, help you keep weight off, improve your mood, body aches as well as joint pain. Learn why it is important, how it can help and other simple tips to get you started today.
April 24 - Share: Let’s live and share a joyful life. Start connecting to others with purpose. Find out what you can do to connect to the health and wellness services we offer to support our community.
