Memorial Health System is an Accredited Breast Center

We are the first and only hospital in the region to receive three-year full accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC). This designation underscores our commitment to the highest level of breast health care from screening and diagnosis to cancer treatment and survivorship support.

We have also been recognized by the American College of Radiology (ACR) as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence and for a three-year term of accreditation in breast ultrasound (ACR).

When it comes to living a healthy lifestyle, breast health is an essential ingredient in women’s lives. Although caring for your own health often takes a back seat to other responsibilities, we’ve made your convenience our commitment.

At Strecker Cancer Center, we are able to schedule a mammogram and get results quickly, get information on breast self-examination techniques and patients can contact an expert with questions on breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. No matter your personal need, we have the convenient services you expect.

Here, we have a breast health navigator who can guide you through the maze of education, diagnosis, treatment options, insurance and emotional needs. Effective treatment of breast cancer requires access to a number of specialties. Our patient centered approach uses a team with specialized skills and expertise to provide the highest quality of care.

If further testing or treatment becomes necessary, you’ll have the full attention of an experienced team of breast health experts from oncology, radiology, surgery, pathology and primary care. Our multidisciplinary team
