Clinical research supports exercise as a way to improve brain and motor function in individuals suffering with Parkinson’s disease. It’s never too early or late to begin therapy.

Working with speech and physical therapists certified in the treatment of patients with Parkinson’s disease, we offer a variety of treatment plans, two of which include globally standardized protocols called LSVT LOUD and LSVT BIG. These programs consist of 16 sessions, four consecutive days a week for four weeks. Each session is one hour long and patients are given daily homework and carryover exercises.

We also offer other conventional and less intense multidisciplinary therapy for patients with Parkinson’s disease.

To learn more about this program, call (740) 374-1422 to speak to a therapist or schedule an evaluation.
