Take charge of your health with personalized diabetes education designed to support you at every step! Our one-on-one classes are tailored to your individual needs and cover a wide range of topics to help you confidently manage your condition. You’ll learn what diabetes is and how it affects your body, how to properly use medications and injections, and how to monitor and understand your blood sugar levels. We also cover effective problem-solving strategies for managing high or low blood sugar, what to do when you’re sick, and how to reduce the risk of long-term complications. Along the way, you’ll gain tools for healthy coping and lifestyle habits that support long-term success.
Classes are one hour long and are offered during clinic hours—Tuesday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.—at the Diabetes Education Center on the Belpre Medical Campus.
