Fund Run Glow 2024
October 5th
The Fund Run Glow 2024 was a stunning success!
This year, the event raised an amazing $10,002.50 to support Memorial Health Foundation’s Stroke Rehabilitation, Diabetes Education, and Bariatric Health Initiatives. A special thanks to the 162 participants who walked or ran in the 1-mile and 5K races, as well as to the MHS providers who took part in the Provider Power Dash, raising funds for these three initiatives.
It was a fantastic evening full of fun, and we look forward to seeing you next year. Thank you for your ongoing support of the Memorial Health Foundation!
The Memorial Health System Fund Run 5K fundraiser takes place October 5, 2024, with the one-mile event beginning at 6:15 p.m. and the 5K event beginning at 6:45 p.m. The races will start and end at the Wayne Street Medical Campus at 300 East 8th Street, Marietta, Ohio.
RACE INFORMATION
- $25 entry fee for all races. Glow will be provided, and participants are encouraged to wear additional glow. A prize will be awarded to the person with the most glow
- 1-mile race ribbons will be awarded at the finish line
- 5K race medals will be presented to the first three finishers of the men’s and women’s run and walk as they cross the finish line. There will not be a formal awards ceremony after the 5K race
- Participants registered on or before September 1st will be guaranteed a performance t-shirt. For registrants after September 1st, t-shirts will be given as long as supplies last
No matter your fitness level, this is a fun event for you and your family! The best part? Your participation allows us to continue to provide support to patients in these areas:
- Stroke Rehabilitation Support Initiative provides support for patients who have survived a stroke or brain injury through group meetings and community-based exercise programs.
- Diabetes Education Initiative provides educational support to patients in need who are living with diabetes.
- Bariatric Health Initiative supports the long-term success of bariatric patients through diet, exercise, and lifestyle goals.
How to Participate

- Sign up to be a Sponsor!
- Run or walk! The event is on Saturday, October 5th at the Wayne Street Medical Campus, 300 East 8th Street, Marietta, Ohio. The one-mile event begins at 6:15 p.m. and the 5K begins at 6:45 p.m.
- Please consider participating in our fun 50/50 raffle – proceeds benefit the initiatives, and ultimately, our patients – your friends, neighbors, and family! Tickets can be purchased at various Memorial Health System locations prior to the race or the day of the event
Important Dates
September 1st: Last day to be guaranteed a t-shirt with registration.
October 4th: Pre-registration ends. All mailed or online registrations must be received by Friday, October 4th.
October 5th; 5-6 p.m.: “Day of” registration opens.
October 5th; 6 p.m.: Provider Power Dash – Memorial Health System providers compete in a 50-meter dash. Bet on your favorite provider to win the Dash. All proceeds benefit the Stroke Rehabilitation Support Initiative, Diabetes Education Initiative, and Bariatric Health Initiative.
