Description

Paget’s disease of the breast is a form of breast cancer affecting the nipple and dark circle of skin around it, called the areola. Most people with it have underlying ductal breast cancer.

Overview

Nipple or areola flaking, scaling, crusting, oozing, itching and discharge are symptoms.

Symptoms

Treatment may include surgery, radiation, chemotherapy and hormone therapy.
