Lifestyle Medicine
Our lifestyle medicine providers are certified by the American Board of Lifestyle Medicine. We aim to prevent, arrest, and reverse chronic lifestyle-related diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular disease (which can cause strokes and heart attacks), and their risk factors such as obesity, high blood pressure, abnormal cholesterol, lack of physical activity, stress, and unhealthy habits such as tobacco use and consumption of excess alcohol and sugared beverages.
Lifestyle Medicine is also helpful in the prevention and treatment of many common cancers, autoimmune diseases, heartburn, chronic kidney disease, depression, anxiety, pain, and other common illnesses.
