Memorial Health Foundation Receives $100,000 Donation from Tri-State Roofing & Sheet Metal Company and the Spartan Foundation for Giving Tuesday Campaign
Memorial Health Foundation is thrilled to announce the generous donation of $100,000 from Tri-State Roofing & Sheet Metal Company and the Spartan Foundation for this year’s Giving Tuesday campaign. The donation was unexpected but when Tri-State Roofing & Sheet Metal Co. president, Jason Lewis, saw the fundraising efforts the day of, he could not help but support the campaign.
Giving Tuesday is a global movement created to give people the opportunity to do good. On Tuesday, November 28th, Memorial Health Foundation celebrated its third year celebrating Giving Tuesday. This year, the Foundation challenged the community to ‘unlock the power of 3’. This included a $300,000 goal, 300 donors, and 30+ funds supported.
The charitable contribution from Tri-State Roofing & Sheet Metal Company and the Spartan Foundation significantly bolstered Memorial Health Foundation’s efforts to enhance healthcare services for the Mid-Ohio Valley, as well as caring for patients throughout the communities Memorial Health System serves.
Jarrett Stull, Executive Director of Memorial Health Foundation states: “Today, Mr. Lewis acknowledged the significance of our Foundation’s special day as we strive for a $300,000 goal on Giving Tuesday. He reached out to Mr. Cantley’s office, arranging a visit around 2 p.m. To our surprise, Mr. Lewis not only visited but presented a generous check of $100,000 from Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Company and the Spartan Foundation to support the development of our region’s first-ever Women and Children’s Hospital announced earlier this year. This substantial contribution marks the largest single gift ever received by the Foundation on a Giving Tuesday. We extend our gratitude to Tri-State Roofing and Sheet Metal Company and the Spartan Foundation for their unparalleled support. Their commitment and leadership significantly enhanced the impact of this Giving Tuesday on the health and well-being of our community.
