Memorial Health System Achives Primary Stroke Certification with ACHC
Memorial Health System proudly announces it has achieved Primary Stroke certification (PSC) through Accreditation Commission for Health Care (ACHC) for the services of stroke care.
Certification is a process through which healthcare organizations demonstrate compliance with national standards. Certification by ACHC reflects an organization’s dedication and commitment to meeting standards that facilitate a higher level of performance and patient care.
“The achievement means we have a dedicated group of providers and both clinical and non-clinical support in order to provide the highest standard of care,” Cindy Carpenter, Director, Quality Services and Infection Prevention, states. “It’s a demonstration of meeting higher expectations and standards.”
Our community deserves local care that exceeds standards, is easily accessible, and instills confidence for a positive and healthy outcome in patients and their loved ones.
“I know that my family, friends, and neighbors will receive the best possible care here in the community, along with the support needed for recovery,” Cindy elaborates on the meaning of the certification for her personally. “I am proud of our healthcare team that’s dedicated to stroke care.”
ACHC is a nonprofit organization that has stood as a symbol of quality and excellence since 1986. ACHC is ISO 9001:2015 certified and has CMS deeming authority for Home Health, Hospice and DMEPOS.
