Ambassadors of Giving Tuesday

What is an “ambassador”?

On Giving Tuesday, ambassadors supporting Memorial Health Foundation use social media, texting, and phone calls to spread the word. They reach out to friends, coworkers, and family, encouraging everyone to make a gift and support the Foundation. Whether it’s sharing social media posts or highlighting the specific initiative they support, ambassadors make it easy for people to join in and contribute to Memorial Health Foundation’s mission.

Ambassador Responsibilities:

  1. Caption and Share: Share a photo of yourself with the branded Giving Tuesday flyer* on social media, expressing your reasons for supporting Memorial Health Foundation on:
    • LinkedIn
    • Facebook
    • Twitter/X
    • Instagram
  2. Engagement: Share, like, and comment on Memorial Health System’s social media posts throughout Giving Tuesday
  3. Email/Text Blast: Encourage friends, coworkers, and family to make a gift by sending them a personalized message

Text Message/Email Copy:

“Hi [Name]! This Giving Tuesday, I’ve decided to support Memorial Health Foundation’s [insert initiative of choice]. Would you consider joining me and many others as we help provide support to patients within our community? You can visit mhsystem.org/GivingTuesday to learn more and make your own gift!

Social Media Post Copy:

Giving Tuesday Social Media Giveaway:

Starting Tuesday, December 3, Memorial Health Foundation is celebrating Giving Tuesday—a day focused on giving back to the community—by giving away 10 $50 gift cards. You’re invited to join in the spirit of giving, even if you can’t make a donation!

Here’s how to enter:

  • Like, comment, AND share any of the posts published on the Memorial Health System Facebook page on Tuesday, December 3.

Start Date: Tuesday, December 3 | 6 a.m.
Deadline: Entries must be in by 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, December 3
Winner Selection: 10 winners will be randomly selected from all entries submitted throughout the day
Winner Notification: Winners will be contacted via Facebook Direct Message on Wednesday, December 4 with instructions on how to redeem the $50 gift card. Please only respond to messages from the official Memorial Health System Facebook page–other pages claiming to be Memorial Health System and asking for personal information should not be trusted. 

Important Information:

  • No purchase necessary to enter
  • Eligibility: Open to legal residents of Ohio and West Virginia who are 18 years of age or older
  • Entry Limitations: To enter, you must like, comment, and share any of the posts published on the Memorial Health System Facebook page on Tuesday, December 3. You may enter as many times as you like by performing all three actions (like, comment, and share) on any of these posts. Each complete action (like + comment + share) on any post will count as one entry
  • Privacy: All entries must be public for your entry to count. Private accounts will be disqualified. Winners’ names will be not publicly shared, and your information will not be disseminated without your consent
