Memorial Health System Announces Re-Opening of Department of Dermatology
Memorial Health System is excited to announce the re-opening of their Department of Dermatology with the addition of four new providers: Jess DeMaria, MD; Shehla Belgam Syed, MD (Family Medicine); Christina Johnson, PA; and Nathan Misel, PA.
This experienced team of providers will see patients of all ages and is ready to diagnose and treat conditions that affect the hair, skin, and nails such as acne, eczema, skin cancer, hair loss, and psoriasis. Through the Department of Dermatology, patients will also have access to services such as cryotherapy, punch biopsies, red light therapy, and excision.

Patients interested in skin cancer screenings are encouraged to attend one of two upcoming events hosted by the Department of Dermatology and the Cosmetic Center. The first screening will take place on Tuesday, December 10th, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Department of Dermatology, located at 2434 Richmiller Lane, Unit E in Belpre, Ohio. The second screening will be held at the department’s partner practice, the Cosmetic Center, on Wednesday, December 11th, from 5 to 7 p.m. at 401 Matthew Street, Suite B1 in Marietta, Ohio.
Each screening costs $10 per person (payment by credit/debit is required prior to the event; cash or check will be accepted on the day of the event). To schedule an appointment, please call (740) 568-4731—no walk-ins will be permitted.
