Memorial Health System Announces Second and Third Floors Open at Athens Medical Campus
Memorial Health System (MHS) is pleased to announce the opening of the second and third floors at the Athens Medical Campus. The second floor holds Outpatient Services, The Athens Department of Specialty Care, and the Department of Primary Care, while the third floor holds the Department of OBGYN and the Department of Ophthalmology.
The Athens Medical Campus opened several weeks ago with the Emergency Department, located on the first floor of the campus. Outpatient Services, located at Suite 201, currently offers walk-in labs and X-rays, as well as additional testing such as mammograms, MRIs, and more. Additional services such as primary care, cardiology, pulmonology, rheumatology, ophthalmology, OBGYN, and more offer patients one convenient location for all their health care needs.
Located at Suite 302, long-time Athens OBGYN providers Kathleen Bertuna, DO, and Jack Ramey, DO, will join the campus on August 12, 2024, offering regular exams, pregnancy checkups, and managing several gynecological conditions. The Department of Ophthalmology, however, will begin seeing patients on August 1, 2024, in Suite 304. Craig Dodrill, MD, and Danielle Ortman, MD, offer regular exams, checkups for various eye conditions, and surgical interventions for many eye diseases. The Department of Ophthalmology opens on August 1, 2024.
