Memorial Health System Welcomes Jason Suter as Hospital Administrator of Sistersville General Hospital
Memorial Health System is pleased to announce that Jason Suter has been appointed as the new Hospital Administrator of Sistersville General Hospital.
A lifelong resident of the area, Jason has dedicated the past 15 years to serving his hometown community with Memorial Health System. For all but a year, Jason has served as a supervisor for the Department of Therapy Services, overseeing swing-bed, acute, and outpatient care at Sistersville General Hospital.
“The biggest thing about Sistersville is that you’re always treated like family. Every patient who walks through the door says the same thing—that they feel cared for and valued as family by our teams. That’s something I’m incredibly proud of and it speaks to our dedication to our community.”
In the summer of 2023, Memorial Health System announced plans for a new and expanded Sistersville General Hospital, a milestone made possible through the health system’s contribution and philanthropic support from the state of West Virginia, local government entities, and private donors. The hospital is currently designed to be 30,000-square-foot, featuring a 4,500-square-foot emergency department, eight inpatient rooms, and other spaces to meet the growing needs of the community.
“For over 20 years, our community has been hoping for a new hospital, but funding just hasn’t been available until now. The new hospital is a light for the community—a brighter future for Sistersville—and keeps our patients as close to home as possible.”
