What is a Medical Oncologist?

As a medical oncologist, Dr. Cawley has been educated and trained in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of cancer. Oncologists work in collaboration with other providers such as radiation therapists, surgical oncologists, hematologists, and even primary care providers in order to provide a holistic approach in all aspects of care.

Education and Experience

Dr. Cawley received post graduate training at The Ohio State University College of Medicine, specializing in hematology and oncology. She is board certified in medical oncology and hospice and palliative medicine.
