What is a Physician Assistant?

As a physician assistant, Ashley Eschbaugh, PA works side by side with physicians to perform physical exams and procedures, order diagnostic and laboratory tests, and diagnose and treat common medical conditions. Physician Assistants can also serve as a patient’s regular healthcare provider.

Education and Experience

Ashley Eschbaugh received her bachelor’s degree in health science and athletic training from Marietta College. She went on to receive a master’s degree in physician assistant studies from Marietta College. Ashley is both a certified physician assistant as well as a certified and licensed athletic trainer. She is a member of the National Athletic Trainers Association and the American Academy of Physician Assistants.
