What is a Diabetologist?
As a diabetologist with the Department of Endocrinology, Dr. Estep has devoted his clinical practice to the study, diagnosis, and treatment of all forms of diabetes. He is trained to understand the complexities of diabetes, as well as the various types of the disease and their impact on a patient’s overall health.
Education and Experience
A graduate of West Virginia School of Osteopathic Medicine in Lewisburg, West Virginia, Dr. Estep completed his family medicine residency in Roanoke, Virginia before undergoing a diabetology fellowship in Athens, Ohio.
