What Is an Orthopaedic Provider?
As an orthopaedic (ortho) provider, John Henry, MD is trained in diagnosing and treating conditions that affect the musculoskeletal system. Specialty areas of orthopaedics include the joints, hands, feet, sports medicine, and trauma surgery. Ortho providers focus on restoring the function of injured patients and getting them back to being active with surgical and/or nonsurgical options.
Education and Experience
A native of Tyler County, West Virginia, Dr. Henry attended medical school at West Virginia University in Morgantown, West Virginia. After completing his schooling, he then went on to complete his orthopaedic surgical residency at Geisinger Medical Center in Danville, Pennsylvania. Dr. Henry is board-certified with the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and is a member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
