What is an Allergist – Immunologist?
As an allergist-immunologist, Dr. Imam is qualified to diagnose and treat allergies and immune problems. These providers can treat conditions like food allergies and intolerances, asthma, sinus and ear infection, hay fever, and chronic snoring. After diagnosing patients, providers can test the blood, patches, skin, and pulmonary function to then recommend immunotherapy, an epinephrine pen, or oral medications.
