As a psychiatrist, Dr. Jonnagadla has expertise in utilizing psychiatric medicines and how they interact with your particular health history, lifestyle, and current medications. Psychiatric providers may refer you to a therapist for therapy and/or continue to see you in the office for continued management of your symptoms and current medication treatment.

Education and Experience

Yogesh Jonnagadla, MD is a board-certified psychiatrist who has been practicing psychiatry for more than six years. He has had a passion for science since grade school and developed an interest in psychology in high school. He completed medical school back in his native country of India where he started to develop a passion for psychiatry. He completed his psychiatry residency at East Carolina University, where he obtained exceptional training that has helped him hone his clinical skills. He has a strong passion for helping his patients, whether the patient is in a clinic or inpatient setting. He has experience treating a wide range of psychiatric conditions in all age groups.
