What Is a Cardiologist?
As a cardiologist, Dr. Moghbelli specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders of the cardiovascular system. Cardiologists can work with patients who have a history of heart disease, strokes, heart attacks, and many other cardiovascular disorders. Dr. Moghbelli’s area of expertise is heart care revolving around cardiovascular studies and tests. Based on what the diagnoses is, further treatment may be needed with surgery or implanted devices.
Education and Experience
Dr. Moghbelli completed his advanced heart failure and transplant fellowship at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in Birmingham, Alabama. He also completed a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at the University of Mississippi Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi. He finished his internal medicine residency and an internal medicine internship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. He also completed a Master’s in Cardiovascular Epidemiology at the University of North Carolina, in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. He holds a medical degree from the Isfahan University of Medical Sciences, School of Medicine Isfahan in Isfahan, Iran.
