What is a Vascular Surgeon?
As a vascular surgeon with Memorial Health System, Albeir Mousa, MD, FACS, RPVI, MPH, MBA specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of blood vessel issues. His focus is on diseases of the vascular system, which includes arteries, veins, and lymphatic vessels.

Education and Experience
A highly regarded vascular surgeon with decades of exceptional experience, Dr. Mousa received his medical degree from the University of Cairo, Egypt, before completing his general surgery residency at Brookdale University Hospital in Brooklyn, New York, and later his vascular surgery fellowship at Rutgers University UMDNJ of New Jersey.
Since then, his career has involved everything from membership and leadership roles in multiple professional societies and committees, to producing various medical publications and training the newest generation of vascular surgeons.
