What Is a Cardiologist?
As an interventional cardiologist, Dr. Schott primarily performs diagnostic and treatment procedures, and follow-up care. In this subspecialty of cardiology, specialized imaging and other diagnostic techniques are used along with the catheter-based treatment of heart diseases.
Education and Experience
Jason Schott, DO completed his fellowship training in cardiovascular disease at Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, Michigan where he served as both Chief Interventional Cardiology Fellow, as well as the Structural and Advanced Interventional Cardiology Fellow. He completed his residency training in internal medicine at OhioHealth Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus Ohio, after earning his medical degree from Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Athens, Ohio.
