As a psychologist, Dr. Scott specializes in observing behavior and providing help to individuals facing mental health challenges. A psychologist’s goal is to help individuals handle problems in a healthy way, which can include psychologists diagnosing disorders, making referrals, identifying behavioral and emotional patterns, and forming effective treatment plans.

Education and Experience

Jean Scott, PhD received her Doctorate in Philosophy from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. She earned her Master of Science, Community Counseling Degree from Western Carolina University in Cullowhee, North Carolina, as well as her Bachelor of Science, Psychology Degree from the same institution, where she graduated as cum laude.
