What is a Psychologist?

Education and Experience
Amber Tebay, PhD graduated from Walden University and is a member of Psi-Chi, Ohio Psychological Association,
and American Psychological Association. Dr. Amber Nicole Tebay (Adams) is a clinical psychologist with a specialized focus in health psychology, also known
as medical psychology. With this discipline, she focuses on psychological, behavioral, biological, and cultural factors
and how they contribute to behavioral health, physical health, and illness. She emphasizes assessment and intervention
in areas including, but not limited to: sleep health, dietary health, vitamin supplementation, spiritual health, physical
activity, social influences, biological factors, and environmental factors. Dr. Tebay is also a certified personal trainer (with specialization in behavior change, weight management, fitness nutrition, program design, cardiorespiratory assessment, functional assessment, youth fitness) which also allows her to have a more comprehensive understanding and perspective of other possible interventions and techniques for overall well-being.
