The first step in therapy is a one-on-one, comprehensive evaluation session. During this appointment, our therapists thoroughly evaluate your current condition. They then use that data to create a customized plan of care specific to your needs and goals for pain reduction, improved mobility, and function. When it comes to your care plan, you provide input each step of the way.
Physical therapy (PT)
Our physical therapists offer the full range of physical therapy services, including:
- Concussion rehabilitation
- Dry needling (works to reduce muscle pain and improve mobility)
- Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization, or IASTM (specialized type of soft tissue massage)
- Industrial services for return to work and pre-work screenings
- Sports-related injuries, in partnership with Sports Medicine
- Vestibular (balance) therapy
- Neurodevelopment treatment
Occupational therapy (OT)
Our occupational therapists are highly-trained, licensed health care professionals who work with you to help you gain or regain function and independence in your activities of daily living (ADLs). Depending on your unique needs, your OT care plan may include some combination of the following:
- Driving evaluations and behind-the-wheel training
- Household and money management skills
- Oncology survivorship programs
- Self-care
- Visual deficits
Speech-language pathology (SLP)
Our speech-language pathologists are highly-trained, licensed health care professionals who are committed to helping you reduce pain and improve mobility. Depending on your unique needs, your SLP care plan may include some combination of the following:
- Improving voice resonance (intensity and clarity of speech)
- LSVT® LOUD services (strategies that improve communication) for Parkinson’s disease
- Oncology survivorship programs
- Strategies to help improve attention, memory, planning, problem solving, and thought organization
- Skills needed to return to school or work following concussions and brain injuries
- Social communication
- Treatment for swallowing disorders, including VitalStim® (electrical stimulation)
Pediatric therapy
Our goal of pediatric therapy is to improve the general functioning and independence of your child, so that they are able to reach their full potential. We use play-based therapy to address developmental delays and other disorders and emphasize parent/guardian education and involvement in therapy.
Each child receives an individualized treatment program, with these activities being reinforced at home and at school when appropriate. We provide physical, occupational, and speech-language therapy services for children.
